Can I use 55w HID lights in original HL housing?

Im just curious, in the low beam housing, there is a bulb cap, what happen if u remove it?

the low beam will shot light out like high beam?

Yes, removing that will make your low beam into a high beam. Please don't do it unless you're wanting to be a huge *** and blind everyone you drive past.

I ran 55watt for year with no problem. since then upgraded to the new LED Kits it gives it a much cleaner look. they look as if im running projectors even though its a stock headlight. output lighting evenly distributed http://www.theledsource.net/LED-HEADLIGHT-KIT-p/tls-sb-ledkit.htm
