Valve bolts broke & stuck

You have to puch a starting point, what I did was I use the smallest drill bit and start drilling the center of the bolt. Once I have the center drilled, I use a screw extract bit to extract the bolt out. I placed a few demp towards around the bolt area just to make sure there wasn't any particles flying around that might fall down to the cylinder head. After I was able to get the bolt out, I change my oil just for good measure. Take your time and be really patient.

for future reference, i think the valve cover bolts specified torque is 84in/sq inch. good luck man

As stated, it's 84 in/lbs. Simple math to get ft/lb. There's 12inches in a foot, so 84in divided 12in/ft = 7ft/lbs.
