So I have decided to finally start doing the basic stuff myself after the local honda dealer raised their rates on services. They no longer offer the 18.95 oil change and tire rotation (yeah, I know, sick deal).

I am looking for the torque settings for the 4cyl 2002 LX automatic transmission fluid drain plug and the oil pan drain plug.

yes, I know to only use honda ATF.

I have been searching for a few hours and the search functions blows.

Thanks in advance!

sorry, didn't see it, just got back online. would be a nice reference for future searches if you replied here with it.

my manual says 33ft/lbs for the oil plug but nothing for the tranny plug.

i asked the dealer and they said that there wasn't a specific setting according to honda......is that true?????

Well then better luck to you finding it. I wouldn't waste my time getting out a TQ wrench for something as simple as a drain bolt.
