I want to keep the camber within specs. I cant afford to buy tires that often right now. I need them to last a solid 2 years.
For it to "sit right" with me, I would want it to be closer to a 2" drop. I just can't do that. I wish I could afford co's, but that's just not in the stars for me right now.

If you want something that will fit without any work at all, 18x7.5 +48 or something similar. Here's how that exact size with 225/40/18 fit on my car.

Looks good. I have to stay under $1000, so I dont know that 18's would be the way to go. Besides, I like the look of a little meat on my bones. lol

A lower offset with this setup wouldn't be a bad thing, or you could run spacers.

Sounds like the budget is a bit limited, so, maybe be patient, rather than rush to get something that might not be what you really want, just because.

Depending on which rims/tires, that is a good price.

A +38/+40 offset will get the wheels sitting out a little more and a bit more flush with the fenders.

Do you have pics of the rims you are considering?

Popeye are these going on a 5thgen? That's what I assumed from your original post. If so, that will work a little differently than a 6thgen.
