I don't know where this is suppose to go, so I just put it here since alot of people view the general chat lol
Mods feel free to move it, sorry

Anyways, my accord is getting HORRIBLE gas mileage compared to what other people say that I should be getting
I have a 2000 Accord SE
I4 ULEV Automatic
and I'm only getting about 20 mpg, like 300 a tank
That doesn't seem right to me at all
No matter how mild I drive it
do I need a tune up?
Any help would be appreciated, thanks

Yeah I get about the same no matter if WOT or granny driving. Of course WOT is a little less maybe 260 to a tank. as for the tune up I cant say for sure I did mine with NGK iridium all the way and got negligible (sp?) results plugs & wires

I have an I4 SULEV Automatic EX Sedan.

Highest I've got is about 370 full tank (~27mpg) (85 hwy/15city) and that is cruising at 65 most of the time.

Usually I get about 280 almost pure city (~20mpg). I never really gas it too much.

EPA
24city/32hwy

They say that you really get 75% of the EPA ratings.
So I think what I average sounds just about right.

Wait, so the miles I'm getting is right?
holy crap the accord uses so much gas then!

I have NGK iridium sitting on my table, and the wires too
and K&N air filter, no time to install
I'm also planning to seafoam my car this weekend

Oh yeah, I forgot to add that I cleaned/oiled my K&N air filter and cleaned the throttle body a bit with the carburetor cleaner. Also, I poured in a bottle of Chevron Techron Fuel System Treatment into the gas tank about 2 months ago. Planning to use another bottle before my next oil change. Car is running smoother ever since.

So a slight mileage increase, I think.
