If I'm not throwing a CEL or anything and I decide to clean this, would it benefit me in any way?

agreed. would having a dirty screen make vtec less powerful due to the screen being clogged and less oil getting through (less oil pressure for vtec)?

my vtec engagement isnt even noticeable. is that common? i mean i feel the power, but cant hear an exhaust note.

Nice write up, had to do it on mine too and was surprised how much **** had collected in the screen.
