Hello guys,
I could not find the similar thread, so I opened a new. Who can say if to paint the wheel rims, what paint should I take? Automotive paint or any special for the rims?
Thanks

I would consider getting them powdercoated, but if that's not an option then there's nothing wrong with paint. If you don't have them professionally painted then make sure you do the prepwork right and all.

I've painted steelies before. 90% of the job is prep work. Wash thoroughly with a good soap/degreaser. Wire wheel/sand off any rust. Prime bare metal surfaces. Lightly sand entire wheel to give it a tooth. Wash again. Wait until dry. Apply basecoat in multiple thin coats. Clear if wanted.

IMO

Wash them, very, very well!
Scuff ALL of them with Scotchbrite purple
Paint, skip primer, twice, 1st= light/medium coat, 2nd= full coat, 4 wheels = 1 can (usually)
Done, plan on a repaint when you need new tires
