Which Color temp in Cali?

Well I will be getting DDM Raptor 35W HID's soon and I can't seem to decide on what color temp. These will be going in stock headlight assembly and I here 55W is way to bright for halogen housings. I live in SoCal and cops down here pretty much gay....so I was wondering which color temp would best for this area? I had 4300k, 5000k, and 6000k in mind. Thanks again!

wattage doesn't matter....

if ur bulbs are over 6000k, tht's when problems arise...

also, what does projectors have to do with ur HIDs being illegal or not? :eh: if it's blinding ppl, it is illegal.. doesn't matter if it's in a projector or not

I'm not a huge fan of people just dropping HIDs into reflector housings. It's hard to have a decent cutoff on the light and this causes alot of scatter, which eventually leads to blinding other drivers. I would really suggest you do a projector retrofit, or buy some TYC's if you don't wanna do the retro. Otherwise, stay below 6K with the temp...
