is there a way to disable the immobilizers in our cars i need to test my car with a known good ecu and the only way is to go to the stealership and get the new ecu flashed and my keys reflashed too and that costs a good 150 atleast and then if thats not the prob i cant use my old ecu anymore since the number on the keys are changed. so like i said is there a way to disable the immobilizer so i can check the car with a good ecu?

there's a chip that can be soldered into the ecu to replace the old immobilizer chip to bypass it. sorry, i dont remember the link but its on this site i'm pretty sure
