youre lucky, mine is the throwout bearing, been driving around a lil over a year with it. it doesnt really bother me, since i got used to it, but i will be swapping it out within the next month. and WELCOME!

Oh man that really stinks. How much do you think that job is going to be? I know it's a pain in the butt to change a clutch on a FWD car. Mine is still squeaking on and off, hopefully once I get some white lithium grease that will work better (been using antiseize and it still squeaks when it's cold out sometimes). Thanks for the welcome! :)

Did he happen say how he fixed it? The crappy tint that was on it was starting to peel off and when you would put the window up it would press against that tint and prevent the front half from sealing. One of these days I'll get to it (I ripped the old tint off in the meantime). I just have to resist the urge to put the passenger window down. That is fine by me, considering the inside is luxury car levels of quiet and doesn't rattle a bunch like my Celica used to.

James do you know of a way I can post like 3 photos of my car even though I can't post links for awhile? Thanks for your help too btw :)

He didn't fix it. He rolled it down and back up. That was the extent of the problem. Hasn't occurred in three years. I do all the work on his car and it only happened the one time so... Haha!

Your photos...

Looks clean! Nice job!

Pic of the window maybe?

Thanks! She has a few dings, but nothing that can't be fixed.

Left half that seals:

Right half that doesn't even go into the seal unless you push it up:

After putting it up and down twice (made a loud audible clicking sound when coming back up):

Also a little update, that squealing with the clutch didn't go away... It has actually gotten louder and is present nearly all the time when I'm idling. FML :death:
