Brand: Injen (SRI).
Price: don't remember.
Pros: great low and mid range gains.
Cons: loss of power at top end.
Verdict: its a good bolton mod that sounds and performs well. You will instantly feel the low end power at open throttle.

Brand: AEM (CAI).
Price: don't remember.
Pros: being able to say that "i bought a new CAI".
Cons: Thing simply SUCKS!
Verdict: Not that you are going to get any distinctive gains using these on an accord but this is just a waste of money.

Brand: AEM V2 (CAI).
Price: don't remember.
Pros: decent gains throughout the powerband.
Cons: could cause hydrolock if gets through a deep puddle/water and not worth the money that it sells for.
Verdict: A very decent CAI. Gives noticeable gain throughout the rpm range. Better low and mid range and makes a world of a difference at the top.

Brand: Injen CAI
Price: $400
Pros: Feels like you gained from sound. Sounds amazing on the J30 at VTEC crossover
Cons: Was young when I bought it and didn't realize I got raped for the price, shop around first
Verdict: Same as iHazSnail.

Brand & model: Bomz Cold Air Intake
Price paid and from where: 50 from ebay
Pros: Good solid design; sounds great
Cons: crappy filter; mounting bracket did not work
Final verdict: to me, an intake is an intake. its nothing special but it gets the job done

Brand & model: K&N Dry Flow Filter
Price paid and from where: Free for a job
Pros: Great filter; washable
Cons: n/a
Final verdict: IMO, the only filter you should run on a N/A car is a k&n

Brand & model: Neuspeed P Flow
Price paid and from where: $25 Used on Ebay w/ K&N Filter
Pros: Very rare part, changes sound of engine during acceleration.
Cons: Probably little or no gains, as with any intake for our cars
Final verdict:Best $25 I've spent.

Brand & model:AEM Short Ram Intake

Price paid and from where:$160 shipped off eBay (new)

Pros:Short, so no chance of water getting in resulting in hydrolock. Available in 3 colors, red, blue, and polished, and all 3 can look really good. Definitely looks better than stock. Very minimal top end power gain.

Cons:Since it's short, it's closer to the engine bay, making the air it sucks in hotter than it would be for a normal cold air intake, which is placed further away from the engine bay.

Final verdict:Short ram intake (SRI) is the way to go in my opinion. No need to worry about water getting in and sounds just as good as a Cold Air intake (CAI). And install is cake too. SRIs are usually cheaper as well.

Brand & model: AEM SRI
Price paid and from where: 70 from member here
Pros:brand name, comes with CARB certification
Cons:cant say much since i bought it used/filter was jacked up already
Final verdict:again, intake is an intake. dont expect gains, loss from installing it. only thing you will really gain is sound.

Brand & model:Injen heat shield
Price paid and from where: 20 from member here
Pros: covers top of the filter area to prevent heat soaking
Cons: again, its all theoretical. more of for looks than function
Final verdict: adds nice touch in engine bay.

Brand & model: Volant Short Ram Intake With Heatshield
Price paid and from where: $160 shipped, Volant Performance
Pros: made out of polyethylene, kit includes polyethylene heatshield and filter. Unique, not many people have this intake. Awesome WOT sound. No metallic trumpet noises like AEM or Injen at WOT.
Cons: More expensive than AEM SRI
Final verdict: Def worth it, stands out from the crowd, looks great.
