Its a hell of a lot more tedious, cause im trying to make sure its 100%. Metallic rattle can is a witch. Debating on the clear though... for the first time i kinda like the way it looks with a flat metallic look.

oh boy. i sure wouldnt do this, i sanded my rear bumper last spring its now a new year n i still havent painted it

I know its your car so do what you want but I'll just throw my opinion out there. I think you should definitely do the clear coat. IMHO the clear on rattle can paint jobs is what makes it or breaks it. Nice work so far though.

You know what. I really appreciate your input on that. I was really having a hard time making up my mind on that. You made a good point.

Here is a fine example of a DIY paint job, there are many more examples, you need only look. Patience is the determining factor here, not material or application method.

I had an old '76 blazer back in the mid 90s that was can panted primer by the previous owner. I ended up taking it to Maaco for $300 for them to paint is hunter green. You do get what you pay for.

A Little Glossy Clear? Wetsanded very nicely... Now Im really anxious to finish :D

Also FYI, this paint did wetsand reasonably well. BUT, still be carefull.

In for complete car pictures.Looks nice for the small spots your showing..Impressive thus far.
Good work. But really only 50$ on like 20 cans of spray? each can is like 10$?
