VERY bright interior dome light DIY

I bought 3 of these recently, 2 for the map lights and one for the trunk.

At night they're very white with a little tint of blue, but in the day time they have more of a blue tint.lol
well worth $11 shipped for 3.

sick you got those bulbs for dirt cheap lol. they are the first bulbs i had. i loved them at first but im kinda car ADHD and i always gotta be doing something so i went bigger and kept trying bigger bulbs to see what fit best. but for that price i would totally do it hahah.

cool to see you trying the dome light. what i did was take the plastic cover off the dome light and laid it down on my work bench. position the led panels and see how much wire youll need to keep/save. just so there isnt too much wiring mess up there because the LED panels come with alot of extra slack.

as for the plate i could see it being difficult fitting the board into position. how u plan on doing it??

^ if you notice though their listing has 24 led boards in that pic, but these are 15 leds.
I just put them in the map lights up front, and in the trunk:


Worth $11 imo. they have the same problem i saw you talking about earlier, about having to hot glue inside that t10 connector. its like they stuck 2 paper clips inside a hollow connector. haha
I don't have any system though, so mine have been doing well so far.

i saw your boardway mirror and it reminded me of my old one when i didnt have a system. if i have that thing on and i play a song my mirror drops and falls off instantly lol

a 15 is a dangerous thing lol

This is the 15led panels in the map AND dome or just map?

That multi-board dome light pictured above is sick! Im gonna try to cram a small, 8-led board in the doors. Maybe a 15 if itll fit. Now that i know the 15s will fit in the map, i can do that.

It was somewhere on eBay. They were more expensive though... I think it was like 4.50 each.

I'm doing one in the dome and the other in the trunk probably.. I don't know if I really want 48 LEDs in one dome.
