Here are pictures of my car now. I have several DIY projects i will be doing this summer. Yes I kno alot of u guys are gunna think i shouldnt do this, but I will be doing a DIY paint job on my hood, trunk and roof.

Here is a list of my projects i will be doing this summer!
-DIY Red tail-lights.
-Remove tint in my front windows and rear-rear
-DIY Oil Pan Replacement
-Maybe replace my stock shock/struts with sport ones (If i can find a good deal)
-DIY LED gauge bulbs.
-DIY Tint 5% in the back and 15% on the front or 15% all around??
-DIY Caliper paint BLACK

I first got my car in Feb 2007 and the paint was almost perfect. Even with waxing often and everything else i did, 4 year later this is what my car looks like...blahhhhh lol...im pretty sure this is common in dark color 6thgen accords.

Don't worry :) it was the DEP...practically all of them had fading issues. I've had mine painted twice and the color is so nice, just the oem job was shotty

My paint is fading quickly too. It used to be just a few small spots, but lately its been growing noticeably. I think I'm going to repaint it soon, mine's NHBP though

I-I-I-Ice cream paint job haha....

surprisingly, i have an 01 sedan also with the dark emerald paintjob....

but there are absolutely no fade spots to be found....

and its never had special attention...not even a coat of wax...

but then again, the florida sun beats down harder than the ohio snow haha...

Ive taken care of my paint really good over the past few years. I have noticed tiny spots that are only a thin layer of clear start to fade. My temporary fix is dabbing tiny dots of "hard as nails" nail polish on the spots and every other week I wax the roof, hood, and trunk. I cant afford a paint job so Im doing the best I can to slow the fading.

good luck with the paint project. it'll be nice to see the end product.
