I need to get my car running under OBD2.
I have a OBD1 JDM H22a. I'm trying to see if there
is an ECU that can control my engine well enough.
I had several people tell me that the 96 Prelude Vtec
ECU will work. But nobody has confirmed this 100%!

I have tested my engine with civic and accord ecu's
but they throw misfire codes because crank sensors
on the H22 are on the distributor not the oil pump.

Someone please help.
Thanks.

I'm using the obd 2 ecu but good luck finding it, if you don't mind paying $700 you can order it at honda if not search junk yards or other honda sites. You will also need a ob2b to obd2a conversion harness. Do you have a obd2 H22a4?
