guys... i wanna buy a heat gun...

i need to know what is a good one... to use

for:

blackhousing (b4 saying oven, mine is black housed oven method already)

tinting window

taking tail light apart

and other stuff... that need heat

so...

is $69 heat gun from home depot worth it...

cuz thats the only heat gun they sell... but everyone tell me they got theirs in home depot for only $50

so wt freak...

and what kind of temp i need... in home depot is set only to 750 Fahrenheit and 1050 Fahrenheit...

is that too hot??? or its ok???

My heat gun from Murrays was on sale for $22 .. original price was $25 ..

Works good everytime I take apart my headlights

so i don't need the 70 $ ones rite... the 20 $ are just fine...

kk thxz... i ma get one today... and start tinting the 3rd gen accord asap...

If you have a Home Depot in your area, you can get one for under $20. I bought a Milwaukee Met 1220 Heat gun and it has 2 fan speed. It gets damn HOTTTT!! if you set it to high but medium will do the trick if your going to open your headlamp :thumbsup:

i got it... it cost 22 dollar from walmart...

the one in home depot here cost 69 dollar.... too expensive and thats the only one they have...

the one i bought from walmart has 2 temp...

750 f and 100 f... hopefully it works on tinting too...

not a fan of the heat gun, it warped some parts of my headlight

the oven is really easier and a better method
