Pls help!

Front vents work fine...feet vents work fine...rear def. Works fine.

With car and air off i hear a humming when front vents are selected.

With def on (ac on/off and/or feet on/off) I have nothing blowing.

My ac works fine...

Checking the cabin filter now.

Anybody had this happen?

ok, the missing bar part I ignore cause I haven't messed with it.

other thing, motor/blower get loud? Like restriction? Or stay free, like blowing somewhere else?

When the defroster is on, its comes out of the front vents only...unless its on defrost and feet...then feet and front vents will be on

on only vents, come out where?

kinda sounds like a selector door prob, if you get air out the vents AND defrost, on defrost, but only out the vents on vents, the door works to direct air, but doesn't close, you got a problem moving it. Thinkin motor or block.

If, by hand, it works correctly, then there's no block, so the motor is trashed. If it don't work by hand, but the uninstalled motor moves, you gotta figure out whats in there to stop it from moving.

Right, I'm thinking it's either the mode control motor or the selector on the dash went bad.

Just not sure if something broke under there. That picture looks fine?

Thanks for your help

yeah, no obvious things, your 'looking' with your hands.

If the dash controls light up, it probably works.

Replaced my blend door/mode control motor. Every mode works! $6 at a junkyard!
