Looks really cool man, as with what the other guys covering the rest would complete the look. If you know anyone that does would work or that type of thing ask them and they may be able to help you out a bit, for the bottom to sit level you could put risers in for the height you need to support it and make it level, you could use 1X1 and then cut it to the lenght you need.
