Re: DIY: Automatic to Manual Transmission Swap

Just swapped out my f23a1 & auto trans for an f20b & 5spd lsd tranny. I used the harness (by extending the harness) and ecu that came with the motor. I've been driving it it for about a week now with no vtec, no temp gauge & no speedometer. If the rest of this write up is somewhere. I'd sure like to see it.

Re: DIY: Automatic to Manual Transmission Swap

This might help with VTEC and speedo wiring:

Not sure about temp gauge but I'm sure it's covered somewhere...

Re: DIY: Automatic to Manual Transmission Swap

Where do you live? If you are close or if anyone who knows this swap well lives close. I NEED HELP. I have a 2001 accord that I am trying to fix for my mom. I have an auto ecu that the car starts and runs on but does not run well. The drive light flashes on the dash. I tried to use a manual ecu for it. It gets spark but the injection is not spraying. I would pay 300$ if someone can fix this for me. I am sure it would not be too hard if you know what you are doing. This is too far above e my level.
