wait a minute, is it true that the bolts from the flex pipe to the cat are soldered together? or was he talking about that cold solder from when the bolts just fuse together?

The bolts that connect the header to the cat are probably rusted to oblivion.

He just said the hell with it, and cut them off, which is probably your best bet.

Well I ended up getting a set of DC Sport headers BRAND NEW for $180 CAD. I couldnt have been happier. On another forum some guy was leaving the country like the next day so I got an amazing deal!!! I'm gunna put them on tomorrow. I already got A muffler store to replace the bolts that connect the headers to the cat. Hopefully install will go well now. I'll let you guys know how it goes.
