Thumping noise

Okay so I'm driving home from work and feel a slight thumping in the steering wheel. Turned off the stereo and rolled the window down and you could hear it to slightly. Got worse as I drove the sound did. Couldn't really feel it anymore. It disappeared when i accelerated right. And it started this rubbing noise when driving slow. Managed to get home and looked at it but couldn't find anything. Tires are good. Lug nuts good. Nothing I'd touching. Any ideas?

Check you splash shields they have some tricks up their sleeves

I looked at the splash guards. That was a first thought. But they are fine. Its literally a wump wump wump sound

got time to get the car up and started taking off the wheel. and had a not quite tight lug nut. looked aroudnd and couldnt find anything else. threw the wheel back on and its all fine. didnt realize a loose nut would be that bad
