Self tapping screws are used for idiots who cant do a job right. Clips and proper harware are used, some people use 3M but its not strong.imaricer:) said:

rinsed my car down after the snow but forgot that it's below freezing...so i spent another 10 minutes salting the floor, walking over to check it, salting some more...it was quite silly of me...
