What is cheap way to make your car as quiet as much as possible?

To quiet road noise and vibration there is Dynamat substitute you can get from lowes or Home Depot.

For exhaust sounds, a cheap muffler w/ silencer.

For engine noise you can tighten down your belts and make sure things are in good shape.

Also some common sense things like my hood latch would vibrate and my glove compartment would squeak. I put some black electrical tape around the hinges and now they're snug.

Leave it completely stock, it'll be quiet enough to creep past your ex's house without her noticing

^I can vouch for this stuff. Used it throughout my 5th gen and you cant beat the effectiveness for such a low price. ~$20 a roll.

Actually, pull panels & fill all sheet metal holes w/ spray foam (home depot).

I don't know if it's the best idea, spray foam attracts and keep water, so if you want to rust your doors, go for it :)
