Okay, so I had a tranny swap done a while back, and recently I just replaced my passenger side axle with one from my year, 99 accord sedan lx .. I don't believe it matters between auto or 5 speed when it comes to the passenger side right ? Anyways, I've been leaking tranny fluid and it's dripping down from what appears to be the axle. Now I know it's actually coming from the transmission itself, but perhapse I got the wrong axle so it's not sealing properly ? So did I get the right axle, and is there a way to find out if I have an f23 tranny or an f22 tranny ?? This leak is annoying !! I have to add a quart of fluid every 2 weeks!!

If you did not change out the seal on the passenger axle when you changed the axle then change the seal with an OEM one and hopefully that should fix your trouble.

That said I believe the auto and manual axles on the left/passanger side are different, and their part#s seem to go along with this idea.
