Yeah, but you are still getting closer to where you want it to be than when you first got the box.

so, continuing destruction, but the pile of nasty cabinet/interior bits was becoming annoying in the driveway. I certainly wasn't going to put this 80's super aids infected wood in my basement, so the first nice day I got I put the accord to work.

applied hydrocarbons liberally and watched it burn.

Thanks for saving us :)

I really think this is awesome!!

the things that were under all that trim were nasty.

imagine what 20 years of ambulance nasty under metal trim pieces is.

gloves and respirator have been mandatory during demolition for sure.
I've probably still contracted the herpes or something from this pile.

so, who's an interior designer?

will a grey slate floor be too much grey with the grey felted walls?
should I give a ****?

YES, because this ultimately affects it's resaleability. A lot of people ask what I value my time at in a project like this. I value my time at whatever someone is willing to pay for the finished project above what it actually cost to build it. As such, final appearance is important.
So, grey slate floor or wood planks?
grey felt for the walls is already decided, as it's needed to cut down on the noise.

Just like with a home, the contrast of textures is important.

I say go with the wood planks, especially if it's Oak or something similar.

I think that's the direction we'll be heading.

and it will go well with these:

which is what the new cupboards and such will be made of.
just going to build it like Horton did, no sense in reinventing the wheel on construction techniques.

$85 for the set.

they are rated to more than a 6GA weighs a piece.

of course I used the accord to go get them.
