Rear Brake Slide Pin boot?

I need to replace one of my rear slide pins on the caliper assembly and the boot is also ripped. I looked on TASAUTO - they offer the slide pins but they do not come with the boot. Anyone know where I can source one of these?

not too sure patrick, but i would ask the dealership or autozone... how did u rip it? :thinking:

I don't know how it was ripped. I had been having some rear brake problems, and when we looked at it the boot was already ripped.

hmmm.. i would assume it is sold separately.. i would try autozone first, but i think u might have to go to the dealer for this one

Yeah...I will ask when I pick up my window seal today. I looked on TAS Auto and they dind't sell the boot...

Not 100% sure but I think you have to order the caliper seal kit in order to get the boots. It's p/n 01473-SY8-010 and #1 in the picture.

autozone/advanced auto etc. should have em, i got mine there and it cost me a whopping $20 for the front set (4 boots total).

Thanks chido, my next move will be to check out the autoparts store then. Were all 4 of yours ripped / broken?
