Re: LeAccord's 98 Accord Sedan CG1 V6-L [56k!]

I'd say, obey your instinct (particularly on this one) because I think modding headlights is one of the parts that changes your frontal apearance quite drastically. (Just as important as changing rims making a car looks very different.)

If I were you, I would spend an extra time looking others' front end / photoshoping to see the comparison with your own eyes, rather than listening to others' opinions in general.

I know this sounds like saying something to noobs, and I know that you are not. I just think modding headlights is one of the crusial project to be unique, characteristic, and yourself among any other exterior parts available in the market for our Accords to have a clean look.

Good luck!
Hmm wise words by you haha. Made me realise that I was asking an unnecessary question that I should've just answered myself. Thank you Richard

No problem, my friend. I just don't want you to regret, after everything gets done. ;)

Looking forward to seeing your updated post (w/ pix!) next time.

Looks clean! Can't wait to see the end result of the retro.
Which muffler did you take off, the one with the shorter or longer length from the y pipe?
Just now realized you're rhd.

OP updated ! Retrofit finished, nothing special or different. Decided to leave the shrouds chrome and keep it original..

Congrats on the retro, add you name to the official list.

Blackhoused the headlights?

You didn't want to paint match them DEP, I guess?

Thanks Derek, will do :)

Trust me, I wanted to paint the housing, shroud and cut off shield DEP but I couldn't get my hands on the paint and i'm impatient .. lol. But i'm still very happy with no regrets on my retrofit. I'm probably the only 6ga owner in Australia with retrofited headlights :lawl:
