So.. I was taking my front struts out and talking to my friend on Skype and without thinking I undid the tophat and it slid down away from the opening and the spring is stuck between the top of the wheel well and the (CV Joint?), what in the **** do i do now...

Do you have a spring compressor or 1/16th chicken wire (metal wire)?

Alternatively, hit it with a mallet and see what happens :lawl:



Seriously on the wire though.

But I can't get the spring lined up with the ****ing strut either, its stuck against the wheel well.. god FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUQ

I have metal hose clamps.. what If I put 2 on each 'half of the spring' and cut the spring in half with a dremel?

I was going to say tie the wire around all the sides and cut it. Idk how strong the hose clamps will be or if two is enough.... But I guess you have nothing to lose except a limb, so try it haha

Still try the hammer thing.
