Re: teh bachelor's cookbook

so how about that recipe, Steve?

delicious ramen

1 package ramen (flavor of your choice)
2 eggs
chopped onions
chopped celery
chopped ham (i used 3-4 slices of deli ham)
cooking oil

boil your water, add chopped celery
fry onions and ham in a pan, i also added some of the chicken seasoning from the ramen

one water is boiling, add the ramen, and some chopped ham. pour eggs into ramen and boil till they poach.

strain ramen, then mix everything in a bowl. i like to add a few splashes of soy sauce or hot sauce (franks) if i have it.

not the healthiest thing, but it tastes great (looks awful) and is actually pretty filling

Re: teh bachelor's cookbook

Flat wallet casserole.

1 bag of fritos
2 cans of chili
1 big pile of shredded cheese

Throw a can of chili in a casserole dish. Crush up a bunch of fritos and throw them on top of chili. Add cheese and more chili. Throw that mess in the oven at 350 till it's hot.

I haven't made this in years but I was practically living off this slop in my bachelor years. There is a ton of room for improvement this was just the basic dish.

Re: teh bachelor's cookbook

Been grilling a lot. One of my favorite easy ones.

Buy the steak on a skewer with no vegetables. Take skewer off and cut the meat into 4-5 in pieces. Throw in a ziplock.

-Add salt, pepper, and lemon pepper to taste
-Balsamic vinegar to taste
-Optional...add a can of beer (Budweiser)

In about 5 min of prep, you have a very good steak that people think is very good and not the norm. Many think I put a lot of time into it. Be careful because it cooks very fast.
