ya itl put some stress cracks in it..both type r and my mugen lip did the same..im sure everyone else on here also has a few stress cracks from having to bend them a little to wrap around.but nothing bad.not unless you get to carryed away trying to bend of course itl break off.
it might get hot enough..im not sure probably take longer than a normal heat gun..i never used a headgun on either 2 of my lips.

I had a "mugen" lip made specifically for a 01-02 coupe, just throwing it out there as the do make them.
Mine, like everyone else, was two "narrow". It took a very slight amount of pulling and that was it. Took me 20 min to install. With the narrow top peice on the 01, 02 coupe, it may be considerably more flexible though.
