Took the car into the shop last Thursday, and they fixed the connection free of charge, which I am glad for because I was not going to pay them anything more! I am satisfied now.
Though it was something I could have figured out myself, I'm glad it was done properly, even though it cost me $112. They tightened the connector contacts.
