okay so here you go this was based on actual painting of my interior that may help other members...its up to the mod where you put this one stick it or dump it i dont care... for me this is a big one I save several hundreds compare to upholstery shop charging just to dye the plastic pieces in my car that they charge 950-1200 based on the shop i went to.. so i decided to do it on my own you'll get the same results or better than what they do.. trust me and you'll feel better that no one touch your car except you espescially for under 50 bucks....

Materials:::
Krylon Fusion Plastic Paint (any color you desire)..... 3.97 X 4
Tack Cloth........................................................ 3.54 X 1
Shop Towel...................................................... 1.77 X 1
Terry Towel Cloth.............................................. 3.84 X 10
Drop Cloth (to protect my garage floor)................. 3.54 X 1
Masking Tape(blue)........................................... 2.77 X 1
Alcohol (70% alcohol)........................................ 1.58 X 1

***all materials listed are based on my project, you may need more or less than what is listed...espescially beer...hahaaa

total work hours::: 5 including pic taking

you have to remove the pieces in the car this make your job alot easier..

always work with clean surroundings and make sure you have all the nescessary materials before starting the project so be patient...

first you have to clean the pieces need to be painted using soapy water
this where you need the bucket and dishwashing soap...you have to soak it with water using the sponge...some people said using warm water is better but i used running water and came out fine....
sampi5.jpg

once done cleaning the pieces with soap dont wash it with water leave the pieces soapy and wipe it with terry towel...
sampi6.jpg

and let it air dry....wait like 5 to 10 mins depending on temp and humidity

once it dried up start cleaning the pieces with the alcohol using the shop towel or whatever you wanna use...
sampi7.jpg

and ofcourse air dry again....hahaa
***start masking if needed****

sampi105.jpg

after masking if you want you can reapply alcohol to the pieces to remove some of your finger prints and try "not to touch the pieces with bare hands"
and wipe it with the tack cloth to remove some dirt and dust that stay with the pieces... always use this everytime you start painting so you'll have a clean surface...
sampi8.jpg

and start painting...always do the thin coat way...dont rush it!!!

*always remember you need alot of patience:bash:
*always clean your work area before and after this will make it easier:jerkit:
*i'm not a pro so i'm not responsible for any injury may have cause you doing this project this is only information for you to follow:computer:
*everything that has been painted are meant to be scratch:chucklesfawk:
atleast you could always redo it again!!!

****this information is applicable to all plastic pieces in the car****

actually i'm done with the project today they came out pretty good, as for the life of the fabric paint its permanent to the fabric and still have the same soft feeling as the factory one, i did the fabric paint instead due to bad experience i had in the past even done by professional they dont hold for long.. i'll be posting the DIY tom if i have time...
