Okay guys I have a 2000 honda accord with the stock f23a1 engine I want to do a swap but I don't really want an h series which everyone suggests u want to do something like k20z1 or a j32a2 both engines I've done research on and like but I'm wondering if I'm gonna have the room to do the j32 or if I should go with the k20 and keep a 4 cyl I plan to boost it in the future but not until I've got a plan set up thought ideas concerns? I'm all ears

I *think* given the J-differences, like it's on the wrong side, that might be a hard swap.

But the F sounds like it might still work?

My shirt, 'One cam, one love', with a Honda D15B2.

Now I do have four DOHC, but one is DOH, the other two are SOHC.

If you already had a v6 accord I would suggest j32 but since you're a 4 cylinder k20 is more ideal. If it were me I'd go k24. I think there's only 1 member on here that had a k series 6th gen

Why do you say that is the v6 harder to put in 4cyl I've never tried it before and outta curiosity why do you say the k24?

the 4 cylinder vs the v6 engine bay is mirrored. In order to do the swap you need to swap everything to the other side when it would be much easier if you already had a v6 to begin with

So what you're saying is that I'd have have to move the tranny to the other side and work it like that??

might have to do more than the mounts, and not just mounts. They bolt to somethin-chassis, right, well you may need new 'mount' 'mounts'

Not sure if you can use V6 outers on 4-bolt, cause you can't use 4-bolt inner on trans.
