Civic radiator for temporary use because I'm impatient.

Last night when I test drove it, I took it up to 6200RPM and it lost all power and I struggled to make it home.

I'm going to go test the ignition coil, ignitor, and other components of that distributor, and install the replacement radiator that came in today.

Yeah my car boggs out and or stutters at 5500 when vtec is supposed to kick in but it doesnt, it just starts jerking fo a quick second and then i let off gas. I cleaned out the vtec solenoid and changed the gasket and still no vtec....i was saying if you figure out why your car is doing it at 6500 let me know maybe you will see somehing i didnt!

Im running my H23A swap in my 02 accord 5 speed with a PCD ECU from an accord euro-r, The ECU is obd2 and it will pass California emissions testing. This is the best and cheapest ECU to run the H23A with if you are using a Manual transmission, this also allows you to run the original H23A intake manifold and throttle body which is a plus.

I thought it won't be able to pass emissions since it's a jdm ecu and our scanners aren't compatible or something like that. If you can prove me wrong you don't know how happy I'd be

JDM PCD ecm does not monitor catalytic converter efficiency i.e. it does not monitor second oxygen sensor at the end of the catalytic converter. This ecm is NOT california emission legal.

^^^^
He's right the JDM ecu's do not monitor the rear o2 sensor so in Cali it wont pass emissions inspection but here in lower Virginia I don't have that problem so I fly a jdm pcf-901 for an automatic perfectly.

A few weeks ago I upgraded my brakes with calipers from a 6th gen v6 accord, along with 4th gen Prelude VTEC rotors. I also replaced all 4 of my motor mounts, as well as replaced my serpentine belt with one that bypasses my A/C compressor (which I've subsequently removed) as one of the A/C lines was damaged during the swap. I'll need to replace it in the near future.

I sprayed the brackets flat black with hi-temp grill paint, and sprayed the calipers with some hi-temp silver paint.

The < 1/2" difference in the radius of the 10.2" to 11.1" rotors is barely visible. But my optimistic eyes can notice the difference :)

Fills up the stock 15" wheels.

I was pleasantly surprised that it's possible to bypass the A/C compressor without need to remove the compressor.

Don't tell Joseph Davis that I washed my car :)

I picked up an Accord Type R LSD transmission that I plan on putting a shorter 4th and 5th gearset in. That project is imminent, just waiting for some parts to arrive :)
