Offset choices

So I'm looking into getting some rota grids 17x9 for my cg sedan but don't know what offset I can run. What offsets can I run? the rims are gonna be concaved ofcourse and I'm looking for something that doesn't involve rolling my fenders and the car is gonna be lowered, tire to fender not tucking. Lmk

I was told that 30 won't work thats why I make this thread. I was like not true and the wanted to sell me +12 I knew that was too little. Just need confermation

What suspension are you running and how low are you planning to go?

With 17x9, you'll have to roll your fenders. I would suggest anywhere from +20 to +35 offset if you want it nice and flush, depending on how low you are.

A +40 will probably rub against your struts. IIRC, 2 members on here are running x9.5 +15 so you'll probably be fine with x9 +12.. BUT, you'll need to be slammed and running anywhere from -3 to -4 camber.

to go low offset ur guna have to roll fenders and maybe pull u can do a +12 but ur guna have to pull
this is sleeper cells which have a +12 offset

This is my setup..rota D2 17x8.5 +15 wrapped in 215/45/17
Trimmed the rear quarter panels rolled the front fender liner tabs and doesn't scrape

Right now I'm looking at getting either f&f type 2, ksports, or the d2 coils. I want to go low about tire to fender not tucking and don't want to roll the fenders. As for tires I'm hoping you guys can guide me I talked to a guy on here who has the same rim but in like +38 offset with 5mm spacers. Thats all he told me.

Ok....you're not searching enough for the info...it's out there.

17" rim, run a 45-50 profile tire.

It has been suggested that you run a 20-40 offset. That doesn't mean it has to be 30, but it can be in that range, I would suggest closer if not IN the 20 range.

If you don't want to roll your fenders, then don't, don't slam the car, that's all.

If you get a higher offset, then you would need to run spacers.....not what I would recommend with those wheels, if your offset is in the 10-20 range.

17x9 +25 wrapped in 215/45/17 tire on coils on a mild drop and ur straight should be a flush look not poking. Oh and wut tire r u gonna buy? Diff tires have diff strecth look my 215/45 bridgestone tire strectched a lot more than my nitto neo gen tire did..
