I got used stuff because it was cheaper and only temporary. Just needed a little something to tide me over until I have enough for type 2's. If you're planning on keeping them for around a year, I would say used is fine but any longer and you should probably just buy new. Maybe just buy brand new type ones for $600 shipped. Save yourself the hassle in that case.
