ROTM:
The ROTM is bimonthly and will have a different theme each time. For example Best Sedan, Best Coupe, etc. The following information will describe the process in how the ROTM of 6thgenaccord will be picked.
Nominations:
The nomination process starts off with a thread stating the theme and months for the ROTM...A member may nominate themselves or pick another member for the nomination.To do this either PM me or respond in the thread.To qualify for the ROTM the member must have THREE nominations. After the nomination process if there are more than 4 final nominees then it will be up to the Admin/Mods Staff to pick if there is a tie, or other circumstances...
Once these 4 have been chosen, a confirmation message will be sent to the 4 to get there agreement for voting. If they decline for any reason another member will be chosen. From now on if you are up for nomination you must answer the questions, have an updated mod list, and available pictures before you can qualify to be up for the voting. A member can only be granted ROTM once a year to keep things even for all members on the site. To be nominated for the ROTM, you MUST also have a Member Rides thread..
This process on nomination will occur at the beginning of the month before they are granted ROTM. For example the process for the winner of May/June ROTM will begin the first week of April.
Voting:
After this has been done a thread will be opened for all members to choose who will be the Ride of the Month (ROTM). If possible there will also be a email sent out reminding the members to vote. Once the week is over, the member with the most votes will be given the ROTM title. Incase of a tie, the Admin/Mod staff will choose the winner if deemed necessary.
Qualifications:
To be qualified to be picked for ROTM you must have the following things.
-Have been registered for 2+ months
-Must have a minimum of 50 posts
-Have been active over the past week
-Must have a thread in the Members Ride section
-No Admin/Mod can be nominated
Winner:
The winner will be granted title of ROTM for the two months following the voting. They will be sent a pm confirming that they won and asked a few questions about who they are and how they got into cars. Once all the information is together a thread will be opened up. This will be posted on the main page.
Winner must have the following:
ATLEAST 10 high quality photos (no camera phones) May have exceptions on the number, but NO camera phone/low quality pictures
Some knowledge on how to take photos
Must answer the questions asked for thread
A mod list of their car
Video is optional
If the winner can not follow the rules, the next in line will be granted ROTM.
Any problems in the process of picking the ROTM will be solved by the 6thgenaccord Staff. Any questions or comments can be guided towards them or 00Accord4cyl. There will be NO tolerance of flaming the winning member or anything similar.
