Leather Seat Replacement (Questions)

Hi All,

Great forum!! Love the 6th gen cars. :thumbsup:

Question: I would like to replace my front driver's side leather seat on my 2001 EX Coupe - the leather is ripped up on the left side pretty bad (seam is split in multiple pieces). Has anyone ever replaced a seat? If so, where to get an OEM leather seat (eBay didn't seem to have any, I would like to keep everything original). Also, what does it take, just removed a few bolts and unconnect electric seat harnesses? Any other advice?

enter in your zip in the bottom right corner. then click parts...put in your vehicle info..self explanatory.......choose a dealer...then go to "interior/bumper" then "front seat (side srs) L." and your looking for either number 2 or number 18....

youll need to disconnect your battery to disable the side airbags since you have an 01 (or was it just 02s with side airbags?? dont remember off hand).

otherwise yeah, just undo the harness and bolts. not much to it :beer:
