I'd paint it black bro, unless you have a bunch of other polished stuff in your engine bay which would go with it, and don't mind keeping up on it's shine

polishing is sweet but sucks for maintenance. ask talontsiawd how many times he's had to re-polish his exhaust heat shield...and he lives in CA...
