If the car thinks that the clutch isn't down it SHOULD not crank. After all the idea is to prevent you from trying to move the car with the starter.

Got the car running. Check engine light does not come on, but I have four codes. The codes I am getting are P0452, P0450, P0505, and P0170. The first two are the evaporative emission stuff, which I don't really have hooked up/deleted. P0505 is the idle air control, not sure why this is bad. The P0170 fuel trim bank 1, is the what is really questioning me. I plugged off the vacuum lines that went to the intake manifold. I don't see anymore openings that might be giving me a vacuum leak. Map Sensor I just replaced since my throttle body didn't have one. Does anyone have any thoughts to this code?
