new tranny needed...

So I'm driving up to Manning Park...200 kms from my house (up some pretty big hills)... and my tranny overheats. Now I need a new tranny. I'm sooo pissed. I'm looking to do a H22 Swap now cuz It's $4000 to rebuild my tranny. Stupid camping trip cost me a tranny!!!

do you have a 5spd tranny? if you just need the tranny, why not just swap in an H22 tranny with a lsd? the gearing will make a huge difference. I know pskpx had an H23 tranny and he was running low 15s if I'm not mistaken, and that was with basic boltons.

At $4000 - its not a manual. Go to a junkyard, pick up another auto tranny, put a tranny cooler on it.

Yea it's an auto. I might do a full out H22 Engine swap. I don't wanna take another risk with an auto tranny again. I already had this tranny rebuilt at 100 000kms and now I'm at 145 000kms with no warrenty. ****in 6th gen accord trannys.
