1. Is this your first car?
Nope I had a 4 door 1998 Acura Integra LS before

2. How did you end up with the accord?
My Sakura used to be owned by my parents and they wanted to get rid of it at that time to get another car. They were still paying for the monthly payments which I took over since my beat up integra was already paid for. After a year I decided to just pay off the Accord in full and give my Integra to my cousin who needs it for work.

3. When did you first start modifying cars?
I didn’t really plan on modifying Sakura, I was going to use it primarily for work. I had plans on getting a Acura TL, but I thought since I paid off the car why not mess with it. Back in 2003 i watched a few Best Motoring Videos and looks online for reference and that was the start.

4. Did you run into any problems along the way when you were modifying stuff?
The main one was the Automatic Transmission. The original died when Sakura was at 75,000 miles. It was fixed by Pflueger Honda of Honolulu for free, but I still had to pay a very small amount of cash (costed same as tipping on a restaurant).

5. Why do you do it? Why not leave it stock?
The current style wasn’t the one I originally aiming for. I wanted it to be more on the performance side. But I wanted more than just a "cookie cutter" type of Accord, I wanted to have something different and yet very stylish and one-of-a-kind. And something that will make people want to modify their Accords, something that will bring 6th genaration Accords to another level. I wanted to raise the bar.6.

6. What other mods do you have planned for the car?
A built engine swap. H-series, J-series, or even a K series (if it will ever be available). New wheels and new paint.

7. Any other cars you're tinkering with?
The new Subarus or Lexus are kinda growing on me right now. But I don’t know if I will modify those cars the way I did with Sakura.

8. What's your favorite thing about your car, specifically? Which money do you feel was your best investment?
The Prelude gate shifter it makes it more luxurious. The very best investment was the timing belt change best bang for the buck, extending Sakura’s life.

9. Is there anybody you would like to credit or thank for helping you along the way?
A big Mahalo Nui Loa to God for all the blessings, my parents, my friends and family, all my ex-GFs for not being b33ches even if they were jealous of my Sakura, The Honolulu Police Department for being almost always on my side, Island Style Accords for the support, Team Showcase for the hook-ups, Samson and crew of Revision Audio, Matt and Jeff of Eurosports, Ramone at Hi-Pace Motorsports, Ron of Pflueger Honda, Jeff and HPOC, Andrew (Phut), my personal mechanic Ruff at Ruff’s Automotive, and also to myself for being able to find time and money to keep up with this hobby. And last but not least to all who voted for me and praised me in 6thgenAccord and V6P. ......Au’ryte!!! Cheee-hooo!!!…….Aloha!!!!! ::does the double Shaka gesture \o00/ \00o/::
