what's up guys, I used to have an 01 coupe autotragic. I liked it, but I wanted speed so I got an STi and now have an 06 Civic Si.

But now I want to get rid of my car payment, so I'm considering getting a 6th gen 5 speed sedan. I figure I can get a decent one for around $4000 and it would be a fun little DD. any of you guys have an objection to this? the 5 speeds aren't plagued by problems like the automatics are they??

Thanks.

They are good cars and the 5 speed tranny is as reliable as the driver

A quick search would have yielded this answer, but yeah drive the car like it’s an Accord and you shouldn’t have any tranny problems.

My 5spd ex has been bulletproof since I got it about 6yrs ago. As long as you stay up on your maintenance and treat her right you should be solid.

i got an 01 EX 5Speed and it is reliable, changed clutch on it twice but considering it has 210+k on it thats not surprising, and it makes it more fun compared to an auto

Finding a 5 speed sedan is proving to be more difficult than I thought it would be.
