Euro R front end conversion

i was wondering if it was possible to convert my 98 honda accord front end to the 2000 type R front end or CL1 front end ???? help please

and being that this site is mostly for people that drive accords i thought i would ask >_>

Anything is possible with the money & know how. I don't believe it's a direct swap/bolt-on. This has been covered before though, so you just trying using the forums search function.

eBay would probably be your best bet. There is a few JDM importers online that do engines and stuff. I can't remember any of their names though.

well, sorry if I offend u

but many ask and there is this one guy here who tried,

he had all the parts too (like the whole front end) but he sold it cuz it was too much work and money...

does that help???

ne way if u have time and money and skill anything is possible

Somebody has done this. I think they are from the Philippines. They didn't go into much detail about it, they just showed pictures. It looks quite factory and quite awesome. It has also been done on 5th gen accords and I have seen one 4th gen and I think it looks quite bad but the info is out there.


I am not positive but I think it is about the same as a JDM front on an Integra. You need the fenders, hood, bumper, fogs, and headlights. I am 80% sure that you also need to swap your core support, like an Integra. That means it is pretty much only DIY if you can weld and have access to a welder.
