found J35A4 engine out of 03 honda pilot... has 55k on it and asking $600... is that a good price assuming it runs good

J35 is dead.... J36 is the way to go :) besides, you'll want to swap a built engine, not just a stocked. The milage doesn't really matter, just make sure all mounts are still intact, and find out where the impace to the car was...

Eh....average price. The J32 cost me ~$450 with 60k, just to give you some perspective.

Ask a LOT of questions...you don't know how long that motor has been sitting...it could be seized up for all you know.

And I agree, focus on one thing at a time....you're well on your way to being the next claybird.
