My DIY steering swap=epic fail! HELP!

ah, true.

well, the way i took mine off was with some good whack around the bottom part of the steering wheel. not all in the same spot, cuz thatll cause it to possibly jam and such, just around the bottom part....what you can get to.

Im so pissed. Now I remember why I decided to quit modding my car. The easiest stuff always goes wrong with my luck.

you would have to use a heat gun...and go real slow....i wouldn't use much heat tho...like barely hot to the touch

also if you are afraid it is "stuck"....try a good smack with a dead blow(pushing it on) then pulling it off...kinda like how on some stuck bolts you can tighten them first to break them then more easily get them off....your goal isn't to hit the steering wheel further on...just to get it loosened so you can yank it off...

another option would be to make friends with someone on a rowing team....

hopefully this can get you brain storming...im out of ideas

Those 2 bolts that thread into the wheel to pull it out, why don't you try putting to nuts and washers behind it. Or is the actual bolt stripped or just the hole.
