I would recommend a torque wrench. With brakes you don't want to mess around.

you dont NEED one per se, but if you want to be totally sure that your brakes are torqued right, then youd use one (read: anal). or you could just go by feel. i just did my rears yesterday as a matter of fact. keep posting diys people. everything gets posted like a day after i do it. gotta keep the stuff moving lol.
