After having 2nd 100K maintenance; timing belt, tensioner, water pump replaced the car is now shifting roughly from 2nd to 3rd. Haven't noticed any other issues and no problems when it shifts down. During the maintenance a motor mount was also replaced. Before this never any issues with the transmission. I have seen suggestions that this could be the 2nd/3rd solenoids or an engine mount. Anyone else have this problem and what did you do to fix? thx

You have answered your own question.

So, check out the solenoid issue, and if it's that, pretty easy fix, if it's more, the 2nd gear can be swapped out, IIRC, or you need a new tranny.

There is a way to test, I believe it involves a battery hooking it up to the solenoids.

There was a post about how to do it on here somewhere.

If it's only 2-3 and only shifting roughly into gear as opposed to both into and out of gear, then it's probably your packs. Take it to a trans shop, they usually do free diagnostics.

Also, do you have any CEL's? If you do, if you have a P0740 your torque converter is toast and you'll need a rebuild. These transmissions need a proper cooler to run at proper temperature.
