White smoke from tail pipe in cold weather?

is white smoke from my tailpipes normal in cold weather? as long as the smoke isn't blue or black I should be fine right?
and the smoke doesn't come out when i'm driving, only when idling at a stop light.

You can also look at other cars and see if the same thing is happening to them, pretty good indication that the elements are at work.
