Bought a cheap exhaust off eBay. Came with a header, downpipe and cat back. The cat back is 2.5 Inch. I also put on a new catalytic converter. So everything is new

Now how can i change the ricey sound? I have read adding a resonator or glasspack will help. Where would I put it? In the straight section? Or would I be better of getting a new muffler?

I'd cut out part of the straight section and weld in a resonator from Magnaflow, Vibrant, etc. If that doesn't get you the sound you want, I'd get a muffler from the same brands.

I put a glasspack right after the cat (well I have test pipe in place of cat).

Resonators!

Mind the oil stains everywhere. Power steering hose has a pinhole leak...
2.5' and 1' resonators. Dual Magnaflows. (V6)
